The 15×12″ S.E.F, or butterfly coil is designed to offer better, all-around performance when compared to the other DD coils on the market today. This New range of S.E.F – Symmetrical Electromagnetic Field Coils is a new patented technology. With over three years of research and development, they offer greater stability and depth over similar-sized search heads. The advantage of this coil is its stability. This means sensitivity can be increased to give greater depth. The average depth increase is reckoned to be 10% – 15% depending on the ground conditions. By upgrading to this coil you will achieve the best depth and most accurate pinpointing. All Detech search coils are produced using the highest quality materials and the most advanced manufacturing techniques. The coil is filled with the latest lightweight resins strengthened with glass fibers and a chopped-strand material for the best in shock resistance.
